BRATISLAVA, December 12, (WEBNOVINY) — The trio Alena Dusatkova, Pavol Pavlik and Peter Vacok will lead the party 99 Percent- Civic Voice to early elections next March. Dusatkova is a manager while Pavlik is former reporter who had worked for Slovak Radio, private radio station Twist and commercial TV Markiza. Vacok led the investigation into the kidnapping of Michal Kovac Jr., the son of ex-president to Austria before years. Later he quit the police and now he is a lawyer. The No. 4 on the party list belongs to businessman Ivan Weiss and choreographer Mario Radacovsky runs from the 5th spot.

Civil activists Eduard Chmelar and Juraj Mesik who originally accepted posts on the party’s slate withdrew at the end of last week. “The reason is significantly differing opinions on basic program questions and people on the slate. We wish 99% good luck in March elections,” Chmelar noted.

Being originally a civil initiative, 99% was registered as a political party at the Interior Ministry on Tuesday, December 6. Businessman Ivan Weiss who also stood behind the non-parliamentary party SDL in the last elections in 2010 said that he is financing the party. The party says that politicians think only about their own interests and interests of one percent of the chosen ones. However, a few months before elections they did not present any own solutions.
