Austrian minister of science, research and economy Reinhold Mitterlehner hopes the project will speed up.

Austrians still count on the construction of the oil pipeline between Bratislava and Schwechat, Austrian minister of science, research and economy Reinhold Mitterlehner confirmed this after meeting Slovak economy minister Pavol Pavlis. The pipeline project has been discussed for about eleven years. „The pipeline Bratislava-Schwechat plays an important role. However, environmental issues associated with this pipeline should not be neglected, since it requires some time. We hope that the project accelerates,“ Mitterlehner said at a joint press conference.
