SSE states that suppliers who have chosen speculative practices from the beginning of their business on the Slovak market are leaving the energy market.

The company Stredoslovenska Energetika (SSE) expects stability on the energy supply market in the near future. SSE states that suppliers who have opted speculative practices from the beginning of their business in Slovakia will slowly leave the market. „Our strategy of the long-term sustainable business based on the partnership with customers and minimum risky operations, particularly in wholesale energy purchases, is proving to be right. Some suppliers previously benefiting from speculative tactics are no longer able to meet their obligations towards customers and are leaving the market. This could bring more stability to the market,“ SSE’s spokeswoman Michaela Kriva informed the portal vEnergetike.sk. Stredoslovenska Energetika expects stability also in legislation. „The situation we saw at the beginning of the last year when customers as well as suppliers were in uncertainty for several months is unlikely to repeat,“ Kriva emphasized.
