BRATISLAVA, November 19, (WEBNOVINY) – The movement Ordinary People and Independent Personalities is preparing for the founding congress slated for the beginning of the next week. “It will be purely formal; we want to fulfill our minimal legal obligations,” leader Igor Matovic stated. Merely a quartet consisting of Igor Matovic, Martin Fecko, Erika Jurinova and Jozef Viskupic will be present. Matovic does not want to form regional organizations or seek more members. “We have not established the movement to have it but to be able to run in the parliamentary elections. We do not want to imitate political parties, we want to mock them,” he elaborated. The movement will not have any more members, just sympathizers.

Matovic avoided a direct answer when asked whether he wanted to become the leader of the movement. He said that they had to abide by the law and elect the chairperson and it would most probably be him. Matovic rushed to add that his leadership would be formal.
