Minister to Attend a Meeting of Ukrainian-Slovak Commission

BRATISLAVA, September 28, (WEBNOVINY) –Slovak companies may participate in various energy projects in Ukraine. They have a chance to get involved in modernization of the Ukrainian gas transit system or construction and reconstruction of big and small hydropower plants. The Slovak Economy Ministry informed that Slovak companies STM Power, STM Energy, A.En Slovensko and Energo Aqua are leaving with Economy Minister Juraj Miskov for a meeting of the Ukrainian-Slovak joint commission to explore possibilities for closer cooperation on projects.

Slovak business leaders will meet with representatives of Ukrainian companies Ukrhydroenergo, Turboatom, Ukrtransgaz and Ukzeleznica, reported the ministry. Experts of the commission will discuss in cooperation in the energy area. They will speak about development of mutually advantageous cooperation in the area of transport of light crude oil via Ukrainian and Slovak crude-oil transit systems. They will look into all opportunities of using the reverse gas flow on the Ukrainian-Slovak border and also perspectives of using underground gas reservoirs on the Ukrainian territory for transit clients,” specified the Slovak Economy Ministry.
