BRATISLAVA, August 24, (WEBNOVINY) — Slovak Prime Minister Iveta Radicova (SDKU-DS) is to pay a one-day visit to Germany on Wednesday, August 25 to meet with Germany’s President Christian Wulff and Chancellor Angela Merkel. According to the official information provided by the Cabinet Office, the meetings should be devoted particularly to mutual cooperation of both countries, but the issue of Slovakia’s negative stance toward participating in the bailout to Greece and recognizing Kosovo’s independence can be open for debate, too.

Prime Minister Radicova, President Wulff, and Chancellor Merkel should evaluate mutual economic cooperation of the two countries as well as proposals for its future development, reported the Cabinet Office. They should also debate current economic and financial issues in European affairs and the possibilities of a new cooperation, particularly in economy, innovations, new technologies, science, and education.
