BRATISLAVA 6. júna (WEBNOVINY) – Britská elektronická kapela Depeche Mode dnes vydáva album remixov s názvom Remixes 2: 81-11, ktorý je pokračovaním kompilácie Remixes 81-04 (2004). Tá priniesla všetko zásadné z prvých desiatich štúdiových albumov formácie. Na novinke sa už nachádzajú aj remixy piesní z ostatných dvoch albumov Playing The Angel (2005) a Sounds of The Universe (2009). Prináša ale tiež úplne nové verzie legendárnych hitov. Skladbu Personal Jesus napríklad nanovo zremixovali Alex Metric a The Stargate, pieseň Never Let Me Down Again zase pretvoril Eric Prydz. Medzi interpretmi, ktorí jednotlivé skladby Depeche Mode remixovali, sú napríklad aj Unkle, Peter Bjorn and John, Röyksopp alebo Dan The Automator. Exkluzívne remixy dodali i bývalí spoluhráči Vince Clarke a Alan Wilder. Nahrávka vychádza v jednodiskovej aj trojdiskovej verzii.
Depeche Mode, ktorí v súčasnosti pôsobia v zložení: Dave Gahan, Martin Gore a Andy Fletcher, predali od svojho vzniku v roku 1980 vyše 100 miliónov albumov a singlov po celom svete. Medzi ich najznámejšie skladby patrí napríklad Just Can’t Get Enough, People Are People, Personal Jesus, Enjoy the Silence, I Feel You či Condemnation. Na svojom konte majú už dvanásť štúdiových albumov: Speak & Spell (1981), A Broken Frame (1982), Construction Time Again (1983), Some Great Reward (1984), Black Celebration (1986), Music for the Masses (1987), Violator (1990), Songs of Faith and Devotion (1993), Ultra (1997), Exciter (2001), Playing the Angel (2005) a Sounds of the Universe (2009).
